Next Bourne Movie will be Filmed in Manila

Manila, Philippines has been chosen to be the next location of the ‘Bourne’ movie series entitled The Bourne Legacy, which is set to hit theaters in 2012. The latest movie stars Rachel Weisz and Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner. Sadly, Matt Damon will no longer appear in this movie.

Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director Tony Gilroy chose Manila, Philippines over other Asian countries as the location for the film. Forty percent of the entire movie will be filmed in the Philippines, making The Bourne Legacy the biggest Hollywood production to be filmed in Manila since Apocalypse Now, according to Film Development Council of the Philippines head Briccio Santos.
