According to Steven Millward Angry Birds is being taken in a new direction! The extremely popular app will now have a Chinese theme.
There will be an animation change in the game, clothing lines, and even Angry Bird mooncakes! Mooncakes are traditionally eaten during Mid-Autumn when there is the lunar celebrations and moon watching festivities in China so it is only appropriate that the Angry Birds mooncake and app update be released during that time.The update to the ‘Angry Bird Seasons’ will come around September 12th.
We can’t wait for it to come out! Over 12 million copies have already been purchased from the Apple app store and is rated one of the top games. This addicting and fun game has become popular on computer consoles and smartphones as well. Across the board Angry Birds have had over 300 million game purchases!
