LEGO characters have taken over the LCD Soundsystem’s video for “All My Friends.” The music video is a recreation of the original, but with LEGO figures as band members.
This video was already a smash hit and is gaining a new found recognition with the LEGO version. LCD Soundsystem has been known to use muppets and other childhood toys in their music videos.
LCD Soundsystem came onto the music scene in 2005 with their self titled album. In 2007 they released Sound of Silver and in 2010 This is Happening.
The band has won many awards and have been nominated for 3 Grammy Awards.
However, on February 5, 2011, a statement was posted on the band’s website that announced its disbandment following a farewell concert at Madison Square Garden, which took place on April 2, 2011.
